Ilmul Advia


Department of Ilmul Advia deals with the study of raw drugs with respect to their Morphology, Temperament, actions, therapeutic uses , side effects, correctives and dosage. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are adopted to impart knowledge and skills to students. Department has established a drug museum along with herbarium to house drug and plant specimens. There are about 200 plant origin drugs, 25 mineral origin drugs and about 15 animal origin drugs. The main motive for the development of drug museum and herbarium is to display various Unani drug samples for teaching. Department also takes keen interest in maintaining the herbal garden.
